Nathanael Seman

Nate Seman joined the Sarasota Orchestra as Principal Tuba in the Fall of 2023. He holds a Bachelor of Music Performance and a Bachelor of Music Education from Indiana University, where he studied with Daniel Perantoni. His additional teachers include Sergio Carolino, Aaron Tindall, and Warren Deck.

Prior to joining the Sarasota Orchestra, Nate was awarded 3 fellowships to the prestigious Aspen Music Festival, once in 2022 to study with the American Brass Quintet, and later in 2023 and 2024 to perform with the Aspen Festival Orchestra. Nate also attended the University of Miami, where he was a teaching assistant under the tutelage of Dr. Aaron Tindall.
